Took these pictures before leaving for work this morning. Its such lovely weather – thanks to the showers everything seems sparkly clean right now. Hope the ‘nice’ factor lasts and KESC doesn’t screw up too much [the electricity at home has already gone off once].
Why is it that whenever it rains people in the city of Karachi get the urge to run to the beaches!!! Quite contrary to the west where a nice sunny day compells them for a good day of sun tanning?

I miss the rain in Karachi. The school groud would get covered in water, and mum would make pakoras and chat at home. Never thought I would appreciate it that much, until now! Miss u Karachi!
