Shahrah-e-Quaideen Flyover!

I knew there was something amiss as I turned from the Allah wali chawrangi towards McDonald’s. Smooth roads? Smooth roads! Woohoo! The forces that rule over our lives have finally completed work on the flyover and its been officially inaugurated. Actually, the flyover had been finished some time ago, they were still working on the main roads damaged by the construction. Hopefully, this will help solve the average Karachiites traffic woes to some extent :)

just came froom teh area. they’re sealing trnings at the sindhi muslim/ ftc signal, and the one below the flyover. so between razi road/nursery signal and regent plpaza there is not a single cut on Shahrah-e-Faisal!

that is the height of causin a nuisance. i was at habitt tipu sultan and wanted to come to noorani kabab houose, obviously choosing an open road SFaisal over the internal tariq road. and bamn! i had to go all over Gora Qabrastan FTC road, turn from teh signal and come back to the Sindhimuslim signal to turn in!

what makes it worse is that anyone who used to take allah chowrangi-sinidhi muslim-ftc route now has to reach the siindhi muslim signal, take a left and go straight down beyond Blue Ribbon Bakery (otherwise just go straight down from McDs to Nursery signal), cross the road (which is a free flow road!) and instantl take a turn at the signal, to head towards the Metropole area. otherwise with the new bridge it is convenient to head towards Defence Phases 1 and 2 etc. But for a Metropole Hotel/ IIChundrigar road visitor it becomes a hassle
