A new Bowling Alley

There is a recent addition in the bowling alleys of the city, the latest one opened on 3rd floor of millennium mall (Rashid Minhas Road). This mall is located opposite to Askari 4 and behind the ground where once stood cityís only Drive in Cinema. Although I havenít been there yet, but it surely is in my to-do list. Yet so far what I have heard about this place is, there are seven lanes but those are bit short in length as compared to area 51(not sure about game fee, maybe its 175 per game). But still I would welcome it since it is very much ìin the cityî, might be perfect for those who just want to have a game and avoid the long drive. But than it has its disadvantage too, there are high chances it will always be flooded considering its location. Lets see, I shall post more after I bring down few pins there.

Interesting. There is jut one correction. Karachi had 5 drive-ins, three of which were off Rashid Minhas Road. One was torn down to make Aladdin Park, one as torn down to make one of those other shopping plazas, and one to accomodate the current Millenium Mall, and there was one at Hill Park. Can’t recall where the fifth one was.

from the sound of it, are we replicating Lahore’s Fortress stadium bowing alley? good indeed. Karachi certainly needs more places to hang out.

5 Drive-ins wow ok I had no knowledge about them, must dig up that part of history.

I will be able to post more about this alley once I actually visit it.

One more correction there are 8 alleys..and yes they are shorter in length than that of area 51, and the game is Rs. 175 before 6 p.m. and Rs. 200 and 2 games for Rs.350 after 6 p.m. They are good for the beginners coz alleys are in good shape right now and of course shorter in length.

Mr anathema, karachi always had bowling alleys .. clifton fun-land, then area 51, and royale rodale club added on to the list, and millenium is the 4th place i believe.

    Mr. Ali: MISS Anathema, please!

and where did i at all hint that I was oblivious to the presence of bowling alleys? I was merely stating that an alley withinn a mall is he same concept as Lahore’s Fortress Stadium.

My post above shouldobviously tell you that i am not oblivious to happenings in Karachi.

Mods: please excuse this personal attack
