Mobile literature


One of the reasons you’re never bored on the road. If the radio is too boring, just start reading the stuff behind buses and taxis. You are bound to be amused.

    Some of my favourites are:

    Bulbul qaid hotee hai toe chaman ko yaad kartee hai

    Insan qaid hotee hai toe watan ko yaad kartee hai

    and

    Aajkal ka dosti kaghaz ka phool hai

    Jaib main paisa na hoe toe sub kuch fazool hai

    yep, whenever on road, I keenly hunt for such crispy notions.. read a while back and I liked it ‘darshan karao bosss da’

    nothing beats the fact that buses and other means of transport are now actively used as a media for mass advertisement. are we losing out originality to these multi-nationals? I would rather prefer a ‘shan masalay’ ad!
