the sad state of boat basin

Yesterday I happened to go to boating basin, a place that I try to avoid these days because of that underpass havoc. I was horrified to see the state of the roads. It was beyond terrible. I don’t know how a road can take that shape. It felt as if an earthquate had striked the place which destroyed the road. It was just impossible to drive on the service lane after Pizza Hut. Not to mention the dust and smoke that made the parked cars look like they have been parked for years. Clifton used to be the best part of town, now it has become the worst. I don’t know how long it is going to be like this. Does anyone know of any other place to hangout and eat now that boat basin is not an option?

If you have deep pockets, probably Zamzama. Pricey but, in most cases, good food.

I’d say go to Park Towers. yeah i know how u feel! I visited Karachi a year ago & paid a trip to Boat Basin & it was just full of pollution! I dnt know Karachi very well but if you want a nice serene place then go to the outskirts of karachi where there will less pollution or quite roads! Most of the times, I ate at the West Diners such as Pizza Hut, KFC or McDonalds!!
