Bomb blasts.

Geo TV’s just announced that there have been two bomb blasts – one at the KFC located on 26th Street, and the other at the Seaview branch of McDonald’s. Two people have been reportedly injured according to Geo TV, while the Chief of Police Tariq Jamil says no injuries have been reported. The bomb at KFC was planted in the playarea and has destroyed both floors of the restaurant. A: Is everyone okay, and B: What kind of sick person would plant a bomb in a playarea for children? Dear God, have mercy on this city.

Didn’t something similar happen in May of this year? When a mob attacked a KFC restaurant and left six people, mostly employees, to burn alive?

Religious sectarian violence exists in my hometown too, and fast food restaurants are always the target, but hell, the most violent thing people can think of doing here is smashing the restaurants’ windows.

We’re about to witness a huge civil war, but I hope things remain calm for now. What’s going on in Iraq between the Sunnis and the Shiite is causing controversy here.

I hope God will have mercy on all of us. Islam needs some serious reformation. Many nations in the East can never grow to be decent civilizations for as long as the skewed and extreme forms of pseudo-Islam exist.

Heard/felt the blasts last night. Thank God it was only two/three people who died this time, despite there being two blasts.
