One of our readers Aisha had this query, can someone help her out?

My brother’s uni in Canada has managed to raise money. He wants to know if it would be feasible to ship tepees to Pakistan. Apparently people survive in them at -40 temperatures. And he has worked for the Red Cross and UN so he can get help from there also. Bt we need to know fast. If there is a number from which I can get this info, or if someone here knows please email me at aisha.said@gmailcom

In related news, my father heard how people sleep at night in the affected areas: they wrap themselves in a razai, lie down on the charpai, and then the other person wraps polythene or plastic around the charpai [similar to how people wrap net around their beds to protect themselves from mosquitoes]. In this case, they’re protecting themselves against the snow.

What do those people do who don’t have the luxury of a blanket or a charpai or even a plastic sheet?
