Thank You :)

I know this might seem like a really sappy post, but I think its long overdue – I wanted to take a moment to thank ALL of you – the Karachi Metroblog team members, the readers, the people who e-mailed every hour or so with updates and news reports and messages of hope, and those who continue to do so, the people who were willing to volunteer time and money for the earthquake relief cause, the folks at the Lahore Metroblog, everyone. I’d like to thank you all by name, but that would take too long, and I’m afraid I might miss out someone – thank you all so much. Honestly, I’ve been amazed at the support and love, and most of all at the feeling of unity and brotherhood and sisterhood these past two weeks. It might have taken a horrible disaster for us to realize how important our nation and each and every citizen is to us, but better late than never. The important thing now is to not let this feeling vanish with time, but to stay focused on helping our fellow Pakistanis getting their basic rights – roti, kapra aur makan. They still need our help, and will continue to do so for some time to come, and its up to each of us to do the best we can to make a difference in their lives. Lets keep the faith alive :)
