Who wakes you up for sehri?

So how do you wake up for sehri? Does your folks scream at you for half an hour before you could finally open your eyes or a sound of alarm clock is sufficient for you? Or perhaps the ìDhool wala babaî still rides on a bicycle in the middle of night in your neighborhood?

Me, I usually sleep after the sehri, if I am sleepy I will eat early and sleep away. What about you guys?

Sony Ericsson wakes me up – I have set up a really disturbing and weird tone. It does the thing. Then father does the rest of the door-banging, “It’s time!” thing. But. Starting this Ramadan. I’m an early natural bird.

And come to think of it, for two weeks, I was up until Sehri anyway, working on the quake relief stuff until God decided to send Fever to put me to rest.

P.S. Dhol wala uncle still comes around. I *love* that stuff. Hold, I’m gonna post about it.

My mother – first very sweetly, if I do not get up immediately, then she her voice starts to go up and up until it becomes threatining – by this time I am up and running for the bathroom.
