Worst Building EVER!

Look deep down inside your souls, inside the recesses of your mind and think: which building is the biggest eye sore in Karachi? For me, it HAS to be Kawish Crown – everytime I see it, I feel like puking nuggets of 22 carat gold. Words cannot do justice to my hatred for that building…

Hate that building. I feel sorry for people who have to drive past it every day.

I feel sorry for people who have to drive past it every day.

That would be me. But I hardly ever notice it now.

What about IT Park – Ceasers Towers which is just opposite Ayesha Bawani and besides Technology park :)

Ohh yes!!! Farhan you are right, that building is some horrible presentation by an architect.

I want to add one more example, i.e, Sea Breeze Plaze on M. A. Jinnah Road opp. Capri Cenima.

How about posting some photographs of these buildings for us people who live away from Karachi. I would like to see if Kawish Crown looks as bad as it sounds.

Does it have a large golden crown on the roof?

    Thanks
    Sarwar

    Sarwar….
    you coundnt be more correct….

no im not joking…it actually does have a golden crown on it…..

and yes…..im one of those who drive past this eyesore everyday…..

I think the Faysal House being constructed right next to irritant # 2, (Ceasars palace/National IT park) is also a bit out of place…..not to mention its blazing front facade……

    too hard at times….

CDC house is a good addition….

    LOL.

Imtiaz, I am sure the mafia that put up that building are very proud of it.

    Regards
    Sarwar

    Now, I want to enter the best designed buildings in Karachi;

No. 1 : Mazar-e-Qaid (I saw a model with match sticks by some chinese lady in DSF)

No. 2 : Karachi Port trust (Custom House), next to Kemari flyover.

    No. 3 : PSO building

I think we should appreciate all these landmark buildings of our city, which we pass by everysingle day and never appreciate enough.

    hain na !!

Been a long time away from Karachi, but Frere Hall, Intercontinental Hotel, for the young folks (aka Pearl Continental), and Karachi Grammar School Saddar get my vote.
