I always wonder, if, God Forbid… Bird Flu hits Pakistan, how will we handle it?

On a similar note, what kinda chicken you guys enjoy? K&N maybe? or a chicken from some similar place like in this pic?

I don’t understand being a vegetarian. I mean I don’t understand being a strict-vegetarian-no-meat-please type of person. Allah has made beef, chicken, mutton everything Halaal. Surely there must be a reason for that? If it was so bad for us, wouldn’t it have been Haraam? I know that eating too much meat has bad side effects, but everything that is Halaal and done in moderation is ok, right? Eating too much meat is just as bad as eating none at all. Nothing personal Huma, just an opinion.

maybe, Khurram, sometimes the flavour just revolts ure taste buds? i cannot tolerate beef unless its absolutely lost its “bloody-meaty” flavour. or until my sister makes it :P.

same goes for people who are vegetarians: meat makes them want to vomit.

whats the one thing that makes u vomit? for me: milk. so i can associate with vegetarians.

khurram: i became a vegetarian for the same reasons anathema mentioned – it started making me puke all over the place. not a pretty sight i tell you..

Not having meat because of taste I can understand! Sorry if I offended you guys. After all, there is no accounting for taste. As I tell my mom, “Mazay ki koi cheez nahee hoti. Agar achi lagay to mazay ki hai, achi na lagay to bekaar hai” :)

As for what makes me vomit, I can’t think of anything in particular. I can eat pretty much anything… Rare steaks, raw eggs, uncooked octopus tentacles :P Pretty much everything goes, but of course there are some things I like more than others. The best thing for me is, you guessed it, meat! Although I don’t enjoy raw eggs or uncooked octopus tentacles. I find rare steaks pretty much the most tasty dish ever!

I hope Khurram, reading your message (and the things you have mentioned in your post), doesn’t make a vegetarian vomit! :D
