And the world gets funnier.

Remember that SEAMEWE3 breakdown? The undersea fiber cable was damaged and the whole country went in internet black out. Call centers, Software Houses, ISPís etc everything was damaged and it lasted for 10/12 days. During this time PTCL rented some satellite links as backups but evidently it wasnít sufficient. Companies lost Millions, specially Call Centers.

So where does it gets funny? Well, PTCL has actually billed around half a million dollars to ISPís, Call Centers etc for those 10/12 days when the service was damaged due to the fault. Yes, instead of giving them compensate.
