I read this news article and it reminded me of the situation back home. I wonder if the same tactic could be effictive in Karachi. I personally doubt it though. On second thought the CPLC is providing a similar service.

    I don’t think it will work in Karachi. CPLC is having a hard enough time trying to work as it is. We all know that car jacking in Karachi is an organized crime. There is a whole mafia involved, which is connected to well placed officials. Government will be the first one to block any such move.

    Karachi is quite different… it can’t be practical here, I think!
