Finally, itís not some Tom, Dick or Harry who invented the Urdu word processing software but the giant itself, The Microsoft. NU (National University) was also mentioned in the news article as they helped developing various modules including the spell checker.

Microsoft is also aiming to launch regional languages in the future and low cost softwareís in local languages for Pakistani market. Lets see, seems interesting.
