Roasted potatoes.

I have had breakfast in a bunch of hotels around Pakistan, and after today’s breakfast at Marco Polo at Pearl Continental, I am fully convinced that roasted potatoes taste the same everywhere. They’re never fresh, never hot and they really don’t taste of anything, not even potatoes. What surprises me is how every hotel in Pakistan manages to make them the same way. Is this a conspiracy to prevent people from eating them? Is it a conspiracy to make them reach for the chocolate croissants and the halwa puri? Whatever be the case, either take those roasted potatoes off the menu or learn how to make them properly.

Oh God, my memories of Renaissance in Bombay. They had the world’s best roasted potatoes!

Hotels in Karachi should learn how to make roasted potatoes really!!!

SU: the ones at pizza hut arent roasted potatoes. or hardly. the absolutely true ones are a difficult find: the crisp outer side and melting in mouth inside.
