Lal Mirch Ki Malka.

I posted a while ago about the Yeh Laal Nahi, Tez Lal Hai billboards that were spotted all around Karachi. The mystery unfolded a few days ago, Shan Foods has launched a new line of red chilis. What was extremely hilarious was the tagline on the billboard which pronounced the new red chilis packet to be the ‘lal mirch ki malka’. Royalty and food? Well the Mughal emperors did love to eat, so I suppose its apt :)

I think the next campaign would be….. Something like “Haldi ki Rani” (Turmeric Princes)
Shan adopted good marketing strategies and reached the potential markets across the globe.
