Bryan Adams on CityFm89 – 1800 hr today!

Just got an SMS from music journalist Insiya:

Tune in for Bryan Adams exclusive interview on CityFm89 at 1800 hours. The show will be hosted by myself alongside RJ Mahvesh. Don’t miss it!

– Insiya Syed

Don’t miss it for sure – because Insiya is one journalist who isn’t airy. One of the few who I actually like to read in Images. And not because she’s my pal. But she’s my pal because. Tune in now!

(Yes, there are other things to do beyond Bryan Adams. But this is for the ones interested in him.)

Open up Window’s Media Player. Click FILE > OPEN URL and paste this:

I had the same problem; took me ages to find this URL…but it works…cheers.

I always try to access FM 100 site (my child hood companion, first FM station of Pakistan I guess) but I just could not play them. Does any one have FM sites / Streaming URLs of Karachi where people do speak Urdu. Dont care for English scene as there are lots of local FM stations here. Any help is appreciated.

These folks may be able to help. But streaming media isn’t really on in Pakistan. Contact these people, they may guide you.

Thanks Ramla, I googled after my first comment and I reached and guess what, they were playing my favorite person “Dr Amir Liaqat Hussain” :-) . It could be due to Muharram I guess.

That was vdu and quality was not good at all. I got irritated first due to Doctor Sahib and then due to vdu quality.

FM 100 has a player but it never works for me. Is there any trick for that ??

I want too much talking, I could listen to music online , can download all. I just miss stupid talks. Any how FM 100 worked for me. I use Mozilla but I guess I was missing some plug-in but it worked in IE. Quality is good but they stream only Islamabad channel . So bad.

    Found one more …

Its Pakistani based radio station but plays English/Pakistani/Indians songs. Quality is quite good and there are lots of funny phone calls and sms :-)
