Soccer Match Fundraiser
Concern for Children Trust is hosting a small Soccer Match Fundraiser this Friday, March 17 from 6:30-9 p.m. at the DHA Football Stadium. Tickets are just 200 Rupees. Teams of students from KGS, KAS, the Lyceum and Southshore will play in the match. Proceeds from this event will go towards hiring additional doctors for the Mohammadi “Machar” Colony Healthcare Project.
Tickets for the event may be purchased from CFC staff, students of the schools participating or at the gate on the date of the match. Please come out, bring your family and friends and help us raise funds and awareness for the people of Machar Colony.
I’d like to post about another event being held on the 18th of March at DHA Greenwich cricket stadium. Its a cricket tournament being conducted by Rotaract Club of Karachi Sunset Millenium. Tickets are Rs.100. The proceeds will go towards the Rotaract Umeed-e-Seher program, for rehabilitation of Earthquake victims. (Yes, some organizations here, like Rotaract, havent forgotten the plight of the victims of 8th October).
