Stampede kills 30 at Islamic centre
A stampede at the Islamic centre near the old sabzi mandi/askari park killed at least 30 people. As the daily dars came to an end, women started coming down from the stairs but stopped when a girl fell down. The pause at front cause the flood of people coming from behind to push the women hence causing a stampede.

KARACHI: At least 30 people were trampled to death and and more than 50 injured Sunday in a stampede during a weekly female’s congregation at Faizan-e-Madina near old Sabzi mandi here.
The injured women have been rushed to different hospitals of the city including the Jinnah hospital.
Among the dead were women and children.
its over 50 now.I think it happened first time over there.This stampede and in Saudia reminds me that we are lack of discpline.
I think all women should be ban from such meeting as they don’t have a sense of order.
Sounds ridiclous, dosen’t it … so how about learning some road ethics while driving (see 1).

According to above link in Dawn, frantic calls of help are mistaken as Bomb Scare. As there is only one exit so people started to panic. How come these places don’t have enough Exits so people don’t get panic when such things happen? God forbid if there is a fire then how can one escape and think about if someone really bombed it like they usually do Shia mosques then where one will go.
@mujeeb:whatever you babble,its universal fact that ladies are not good drivers,not a pakistani issue only.Since you have spent most of your time playing with ladies(sisters,cousins) at home,so you aint capable to think beyond your domain.How west is not capable to cope this problem.
