Update on “Exemplary Bad Service”

A few days ago I did a post on Millenium Mall’s KFC’s bad service and as a few commentors suggested I sent a complain through their website. I got a reply from their management asking me for my number which I sent and got a call from them. I was told that I’d be contacted by the accused branch’s manager within 24 hours. I got a call from their manager later in the evening apologizing for their bad service and my bad experience which I’d gone through and promised that their service has already improved.

They made amends by personally delivering a bouquet and meal. They also got into an accident on their way by slipping on some oil on the road. While there weren’t any serious injuries the delivery guy had skinned his hand. I emailed the management thanking them for their prompt response to my complaint. One of our readers was right…complaining does help. Only in my case it took a different medium of complaining.

As their reply to my thankyou email quotes

” Everyone makes mistakes, It’s how you ammend yourself that makes the difference

I couldn’t agree more. If any of you ever happen to be at the Millenium Mall’s KFC before I get a chance to try their service again, do drop a line here telling us how it was.

She and I never talked since then.. That place always reminds me of those last moments… :(

WOW – Well done for complaining – and well done KFC for responding, and responding so soon! – I am impressed with both sides. In todays society thats quite an acheivement by EXTIINCT and KFC.

Nadir, thats because you chose a wrong place buddy. KFC for a date?? There are good places around :) No offense please.

And Extiinct, I’ve had a lot of free meals from KFC, McDonald’s and Pizza Hut for their bad services. I, now have a habit of complaining regardless of good or bad service I get from them :)

As an advertisier for the holding company that owns KFC, Pizza Hut, Taco Bell etc, I’m impressed. I wouldn’t expect service like that from KFC in Pakistan.

LOL – I’m not trying to be mean, but she probably decided it would be the first AND last date the moment you walked her through the doors of a KFC!!!!!!
