Keeping with the old world elegance, this one car i’ve heard is a pleasure to drive. The owner of this beauty is our very own Umer Zaman.

Whoa – a true classic – but do I see the hint of a deflating tire in the second picture – the right front wheel, or is this just a heavy ass merc :)

No doubt! i bet is also has all the ‘shashkas’ mercs are famous for!

I always wondered what the headlight wipers were for… till i was told they’re shashkas only. :D

WHY? I dont have that much money agreed but i really want to know if I would buy that car even if I had the money. would you??

    How much is it anyways?

What year is it? I would say 96? I’ve been told that Mercs dirve like new for up to 20 years. True?

    heheh.
    Zaman Sahab you show-off!
Koi kam nazar lagi hai bechari par keh ab yahan mazeed nazar lagwa rahe hain?

Concerned: I’ve been anti-Mercs for as long as I can remember, until i saw this Blue Baby. This one i’d buy any given day (if i had the money, of course.) However, practically this would be a tough one: fuel consumption and parking etc. yet this one is smooootttthhhh. i had a sprained back when i sat in her and despite the bumps I couldn’t feel a thing.

Kidal: im not sure but this one is either 1984 or 1984. Zaman has another Merc which is a w124 1986 or 1989.

sorry for not being around !!
its a 1986, this shape came till 1992
till 1985 they only had 380SEL as the biggest engine, price is around 1 Million but it totally depends on the condition, the previous owner asked for 1.6 million but roughly 1M plus minus is the best bet.

yup the front right side tyre sure didnt have enough air pressure in it that day, got it fixed =D

btw: incase you all didnt know
All mercs come with an indicator in the speedometer that shows if any bulb of front/rear/indicator/dash/room is not working =D

aah umer! i was wondering where u’d had run off too :D

hhmm.. indicator lights for bulbs!! come on.. say it with me… SHASHKA!!!!

    LoLz!

though i’d really love that to be in more cars here! i hate it when cars in front of me brake… but have no light.. and i almost ram into them!! :@
