A solo exhibition of paintings by renown artist Ranjit Das open’s today at the KUNJ Art Gallery, Karachi. The exhibition is showcasing some of the most wonderful and recent artworks of the artist and the whole exhibition is absolutely inspiring and wonderful. The exhibition will remain open till 14th of September, 2006.

Ranjit Das Was born in Tangail, Bangladesh in 1956. He completed his B.F.A in 1957 from the Institute of Fine Arts, Dhaka University, Bangladesh and in 1981 he completed his M.A.F under Prof. K.G. Subramanain, from the M.S University of Baroda, India. He had more then 16 solo exhibitions in India and participated in more then 50 group shows in Bangladesh and around the world. He has received several awards for his outstanding work of art.

Another solo exhibition of paintings by Artist Afshar Malik has opened today at the Canvas Art Gallery, This exhibition will remain open till 9th of September, 2006, Daily from 11am to 8pm.

    Jamash, I know from your profile that you’re a web/graphic designer and an art enthusiast. But I’m curious to know how find out about all these art exhibitions/events?

    Newspapers work for me :)…. and also some senior artists have been kind enough to keep me posted about these events, I am really thankful for their guidance and kind support.
