Rising Prices in Ramzan.

Ramzan is just a few weeks away. And the one issue that never fails to give grief to the people are the rising prices. One would think that Ramzan would be one month that people wouldn’t be robbed blind of their hard earned money by exorbitant prices. The one month when prices would become reasonable so that even the poor can enjoy fasting for fasting’s sake and not worry about the dent the over priced monthly grocerry or eid shopping will cause on their pockets.

Over the past few years the government’s been interfering trying to ease the plight of the poor in this particular month by setting up seperate bazaars and regulating the prices of some of our staple diets. This year though it seems that even the government has not been able to do much. The comparison of prices from last year’s Ramazan and this year’s is a clear indication of that.

out of all the bad habits that we have, we as a nation definately make sure that we take advantage of any possible situation without caring for anyone else..
Ramadan has always been like this..
prise for everything will shooot up and ppl would still buy em..

    Asalaam o Alaiqum,

I think, this is only because we eat more in the month of Ramazan.

We should eat less and give away more, and that should solve the problems. Inshallah.
