Pepsi Twist

pepsi_twist.jpgThe latest offering from Pepsi here in karachi!

I never even knew they planned on lauching it here, but here it is. Had it today, and here’s the lowdown on it
Pepsi has finally taken a departure from being ‘sweet’ n now offers a bit of the cola taste. Its kinda refreshing too… a colleague remarked “its like pepsi with a bit of sprite mixed with it”. Check it out and lemme know how u like it.

“I was asked in my physics viva exam that how could you distinguish b/w pepsi and coke w/o tasting them ? Any one has gotta answer ?”

wtf. What kind of a stupid question is that for a physics viva. that stupid teacher must probably think hes very smart.

anyway, i have tried Pepsi Twist before but didnt like it. What i really like is Diet Pepsi Lime.
if u can find it in khi, do try it.
similarly there is diet Coke with Lime. Thats also very good.

  13. YO YO (unregistered) on September 13th, 2006 @ 1:32 am

FAIRYDUST..you just have try a toddlers fever syrup in Pakistan its tastes similar to cherry vanilla

I tried it today.. It is really good, I hope they Launch Pepsi BLUE too, That reminds me there is a blue Drink in the market, Its by a new (Unknown) company, and the label looks pretty cheep. I had no intentions to end my life by drinking the blue liquid so I didn’t try it.

  15. Jamash (unregistered) on September 13th, 2006 @ 1:53 am

@ yoyo: you are talkin about Calpol I suppose :P *YUKH* I hate cherry flavor just because it reminds me of that very “toddlers fever syrup” :P ..

  16. Faisal Siddiqui (unregistered) on September 13th, 2006 @ 2:28 am

Calpol. hmm. it wasnt that bad. the “mixture” that ur neighborhood doctor gives you is bad.
what is it anyway. i think its just something to make money with.

what about “gripe water”. anyone remember that. man that thing tastes good. lol

@Jamash: Pepsi Blue? have u tried it. you know it has been discontinued in US. i drank it only once.
the taste doesnt fit with blue color.

Faisal I think it is a great question. We already have two answers here and we could have many more. It just shows that whether you could think outside of box, could you make decision when you do not have relevant data, could you count small things.

I actually use this question now very often when I int[e]rview new college graduates. Other question I use frequnetl[y] is to tell me the number of shoe[s] in SF Airp*rt right now. Yah this sound we*rd but you could come up with almost correct number if you just use com[m]on sense.

I was once asked by a HR lady in interview that did she look f*t in those clothes? Infact she was f*t but she wanted to see do I have courage to tell the truth, could I sugar coated some b*tter facts. Could I avoid negative aspects and concentrate on positive things. I am not f*t :-) so I can’t use this question other wise I would have used this by now. Other blend of this question is wear some u*ly glasses and ask how do glasses look ?

Sorry for last comment, I was testing which word was in appropriate and I found it was “s h o e s” . So any comment which has “s h o e s” in it would be held for moderation.I guess its been mistakenly added to restricted words

I like the way this famous youth station 96fm has incorporated their RJ’s in the Pepsi Twist radio ads. interesting.

  31. Raheel Lakhani (unregistered) on September 19th, 2006 @ 12:53 pm

Nothing special though it tastes better than the ordinary pepsi.

PEPSI or PEPSI TWIST both sucks…… First of all guys what i think of pepsi twist is an expired form of the orignal PEPSI. Believe me you wont find this drink after few months….They had to launch it in the Begning of Ramadan cuz they knew it that this was the month to flush this product out plus there has been story going around all over the world that PEPSI & Coke are the worlds biggest producers of Cancer….. If you dont trust me just read the records of Indian news papers it has even banned it in some of their states & the second example is the indian movie “CORPORATE” actually its a true story of PEPSI…. I’m not against drinks just telling u truth plus big multi-nationals are giving lots of funds to Isreal who are killing muslims all over the middle east
