Dashed hopes for pleasant weather.

A couple of days ago Jamash made a post on how hot it has gotten. Today the weather was better. The sun took its time coming out and the heat was bearable. It was somewhat pleasant in the evening, still is infact. How many of us were rooting for the forecasted thunder storms tomorrow? I for one was hoping for a bit of rain. Anyone who walks under the sun for any period of time probably was. Apparently our hopes have been dashed. Yahoo! Weather has forcasted sunny weather for the rest of the week with just a hint of clouds.

I seriously hope it cools down a bit during Ramadan. Getting stuck in a traffic jam in this heat during a fast is going to be horrible! or being without electricity for that matter!

yea that’d be horrible combination! ramzan-heat – traffic jam – high blood pressure – driving – loadshedding … rain will be welcome as long as its nothing compared to those torrential rains that created havock in karachi and hyderabad..

maybe its easier for me, because there are no electricity shortages where I am right now, and its pleasantly cool.. but I think it used to be really hot during the times of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) when the muslims were asked to start fasting. Electricity was not invented and running water wasnt there.

The harder the roza, greater the ‘sawaab’ .. Allah sab kay liye Ramzan asaan banaye.

Ramzan is another holy month of Tolerance, Flexibility and Patience. Few days away.

The worst part is – we lose all 3 and get more hyper, trigger happy and act like blood hounds in RAMZAN. Epathy is we EXPECT from others, and do not take 1st step by ourselves.

Fasting is for ALLAH and for OWNSELF., where as we all can hear loud from others, YAR ROZA HAI AYSA HOTA HAI ROZAY MAI.

    What the heck ?
