Sut-Taiess-Ween Ramadan

So most of the mosques will finish the Recitation of Quran in Taraweeh tonight. And there are several mosques where ‘goodies’ are distributed after the Dua after Taraweeh. Mostly its mithaai or pasteries. I am being cheap on this, but anyone knows the best most absolute place to pray taraweeh tonight. I am not in Karachi and I have not been a regular to Taraweeh in previous years, so I cant say. But help your fellow citizens out in you know the right venue.

I am so glad this Ramadan have been very peaceful so far and I pray that everything goes smoothly throughout the Eid Season. Happy Holidays Friends. This is the last day at work before a long looooooooooong weekend. Oh and it will be 27th Night of Ramadan. So do not forget to pray as much as you can. And its Jumma-tul Wida as well. Oh man, so many things happening today. . .

May Karachi Live in Peace Forever.

The best place for me has always been the venues of the Tanzeem-e-Islami. They have the taraveeh prayers preceded by a translation and explanation of the text they are going to recite. But the reason it attracts huge crowds is that most of the speakers are either doctors or engineers. I think their website is at

If you plan to go, I’d suggest you go as early as Isha ‘coz otherwise you won’t be able to find a parking place for miles around. Even at 2 am.

@Alias: True. The best tarawee. Everyyear their speakers rotate, i.e. every place sees a different speaker each year and they are running it at many different places. Aur khatum per mithai/audio cassets/books etc ka combination hota hay ;)

They are running it on at the Quran Academy (khayban-e-rahat) sea view, Gulistan-e-Anis (shaheed-e-millat), Next to Defence central library, Mosque of Askari III to name a few places
