Sherwani Search – “Naushay-Mian”

After having wandered in almost all good men boutiques, looking for sherwani for the groom to be, we ended up @ Noshay-Mian.
I remember being there on my brother’s wedding, three years back. At that time Noshay Mian had just started designing sherwanis and we did not find anything interesting.
This year, visiting all good designers starting from Ameer Adnan, Junaid Jamshed, Deepak Perwani, Aijazz Aslam & Abdul Samad, we decided to visit Naushay mian in the end. Though the expectations were not that high, yet a visit was must.
And to our surprise, the best sherwanis were found there. Some place where we all liked more than one sherwani.
A recommended place for dulhas(groom)-to-be, to visit.
Better prices, best designs. Satisfactory customer treatment and the sherwani gets ready in just a month’s time!
Not to forget matching Khusa(shoes) / turban along-with.

@ adnan Siddiqi: Hahah! Not exactly Baree, but the groom’s sherwani, so had to take the captain on the spree.

@Zain feb13: No doubt, and the variety as well.

don’t u ppl think spending 20-25k Rs(even more sometimes) on just a Sherwani is a good trend? spending so much monay on a thing which is never gonna used again(in most cases). and apart from that all the KHRACHA on the wedding on the SHOW-SHA is just waste of money.

Oh Great, I love Naushay-Mian. I wonder why they are not all that famous in Karachi. I went there in August 2004 for my brothers sherwani and it was just spectacular. The guy who helped us name the selection I think his name was ‘Noman’ but he was such a great help. His presentation of really unique and he spoke in a very nawabi lehjaa. It was evident that he came from a family who knew about sherwanis a great deal. At Junaid Jamshed, Amir Adnan, Deepaks, they have those soft spoken guys who know jack about Sherwanis and they dont help much and their presentation sucks as well. Naushay-Mian is a big Yes Yes.

Their location: I wouldnt worry too much about their location. It is hard to find parking there and its in the center of Saddar, but I like shopping in Saddar than shopping on Tariq Road & Zamzama for some reason.

Farrukh bhai: It is a lot of money, yaar ab yehi to thori bohat khushian hain zindagi mein, ye bhi lay lo gay to kya bachay ga :D so take it easy.
Unaiza: Good post, I cant believe KMB ignored this massive shaadi culture in karachi for this long. Thanks for bringing it up.
