How much money you need it for your wedding and little trips. Just quit it.

It would be better if you can give an accout number with proper credentials(Nicvd also has zakat fund for such needy patients and people can send money there for the patient mentioned)…so people can help as mobile numbers don’t make much sense.

Saima, this is a new way of conning. This is Karachi. It’s a new trend “go independent”

    my dear fellows,
you need to know a little bit beforevsayin something.
afzal owns a house and hence is hesitant to take zakat from the zakat account.
God forbid, if such thing happens in our family, only then we realise the importance of life.
Alhamdullilah, I have the feel of what we call humanity.
What I would suggest is if you cannot give money, do pray.
And yes dear, this is Karachi! I do get a feeling :-)

So he owns a house, hesitant to take zakat, but he doesn’t mind to accept charity????
    WOW….douche bag.

Unaiza why don’t you open a chairty yourself. Get some bank accounts so people can trust when they give to you. I donot doubt ur intentions but the way you ask does not appear to be genuine.

@ Bubloo: Seems like you have a genuine problem inside. Tasneem Butt is a radiologist at JPMC who works with Dr.Tariq, incase you guys don’t know, he’s the in-charge, radiology department. These two people are responsible for the new department and the high-tech machines that Jinnah’s radiology department now has. Try opening up mind boy!
@Saima: We did not give the contact numbers to give the moneyto usJ
    A major misconception.
The reason the bed # and other details were given, was to be cross checked by Afzal himselfJ
I think theres something really wrong with my publicizing the appeal or people have really lost the sensesJ
We are more into criticizing than to care pondering for a minute.
@Bubloo: Again, ever seen some dear one dying? (Hope and do sincerely wish not) but I have seen my friend dying of blood cancer, not because they did not own a house, not because her father was not working, but because there was a family that was run by her dad and the treatment was far more expensive than they could spare.
Do you think they deserved zakat???
@Yoyo: Actually, I thought people would, if not donate, at least verify the news. But I guess, I was wrong.

@ Zaman: I told her that I would be publishing name and numbers here. Just talked to her about it too.
I DO NOT” publish anyone’s name without asking them!
    Hope no more offences.

its really sad to see that how easily we judge people’s intentions, and label them as “conns” etc…Really,if you dont wanna help and doubt somebody’s intentions, just sit back…what good you are doing in ” Discouraging” and hurting somebody who is just trying to help….

@ Zaman: What is Zakat for anyway? Just to buy sewing machines for widowers? As far as seeing love one dying, yes dear I have seen one in the same hospital. You will find Afzal in every bed over there. Ask doctors to spare free time. I think the do have certain days when they perform free surgery. If it’s a balloon angioplasty, it shouldn’t cost 150K. If they are using stent then I can help you in that. Please provide Afzal’s hospital account number. Not your phone number or any doctors name as well as their contact information. They are one of the hell crook too.

Hi all, @Unaiza….?Your intentions are noble but other people have mentioned legitimate and valid concerns.People do manipulate others.

Again i have no problem people asking for help if they are in geniune need and if someone wants to help great if not its their call.

One suggestion for Mr.Afzal though. If he doesnt want to accept zakat then there is another option of Qarz-e-Hasna.

    Dee
