    Its Cologne, not perfume

  2. Anathema (unregistered) on October 31st, 2006 @ 10:29 pm

    Its very similar to Armani’s “Black Code”.
    is it a Cologne or an Eau De Toilette?

    good one either way.

    Since when is sales of fragrances at department stores termed “official”? i maybe misinformed here but arent all these smuggled?

    Smuggled? I don’t care!

    I love KC! But these days, I am trying to just finish my 2nd bottle of Starwalker!

    Does Unaiza run a promotional company? I wonder if the blog is charging her to place these “Ads”. If theyre not, might as well. Good source of revenue :)

    Just a question, is the company officially here in Pakistan or are they using a distributor system.

    I just feel that D-Mart is a retail store and might have little to so with the official franchise. Im just guessing, care to clarify

    I like CoolWater .. its the best perfume.
    Unaiza, do you know who sells the brand name geniune perfume in Khi ??

    And haan one more thing, what do you do Unaiza ? I mean marketing karti ho ? I mean kuch karti ho ya phir kuch bhi nahi karti ? I was asking because the kind and number of post you put here.

    Anathema: I have seen ppl who have dealerships smuggling the same products :)

    Khitorpitt: You will find a shop or two in every mall. My favourite place is ‘Botal Gali’ but if you are not a local you wouldnt want to go there. Very congested place. . saves 12-20 % (compared to dubai price) money as its a wholesale place.

    Good question teeth…I have never heard of a perfume launch in Pakistan. Especially from a brand like Kenneth Cole which makes black clothes mostly.

    yep. i think TM and I have the same point: unaiza might have used the wrong words using “officially launched”.

    availability is not an issue here. officially authorised sales are i think.

    I buy my stuff from EBCO or La Perfumerie at Park Towers.

    I remember watching ‘official launch’ ceremony of some Burberry or Gucci perfumes. I couldnt believe my eyes, and it was a while back & I dont even remember the company responsible for that. But yeah I was shocked :D

    theres no information on KC coming to Pakistan on any of there websites… this is probably just another one of those small distributors who got a big lot on discount or something

    @Albayla: Really?
    @Anathema: It’s cologne.
    @Keep Walking: KC sure makes one fall in love J
    @Adnan K & Khitorpitt : hahahah! Just increasing awarenessJ I’m a technical person, talking about profession.
    @IllusionFS: Botal gali is a fun place to be, just too crowded.
    @ Teeth Maestro, YoYo & Anathema: Yes, good brands do have official launches. They announce their distributors and provide them with testers and promotional material.
    D-Mart, and the perfume shop at ParkTowers are two that I think are official sellers of many brands. Not sure about Naheed and Aghas (though I mostly buy from there)
