QoD: Dengue, fumigation, Next step???

WHO has opposed the aerial fumigation on the grounds saying that it does not work among high rises and hence, should only be sprayed in open areas.
35,000 liters of medicines had been sprayed and another 10,000 liters still available.
Aerial spray plans are cancelled on WHO’s ineffectiveness declaration. What next steps would be taken?

Unaiza, I dont think anyone of us is an expert to talk on this issue. My 2 cents would be “please ensure your own safety, keep your houses clean & locked, and dont let any amount of water get stagnated around your place.”

What does QoD stand for? KMB seems to be using it before most Dengue-related posts.

MY one little advice: Since this disease seems to be primarily transmitted through Mosquito bites, have all your fly nettings repaired and apply mosquito-repellent oil (Mospel or the like) generously to your body before heading outside during the morning and evenings.
