How can you be productive…?

When there’s no electricity at your office building for more than 6 hours!

So much for getting any work done!

Thankyou KESC! What would we ever do without you! *dripping sarcasm*

What!!! Your office building doesn’t have its own backup generator?? Man what your company is doing there. In Karachi, before you ask for Water and related basic amnesties the first question should be ‘do u have backup power plant?’

Well we can say an office can have those backups, but what about a home. Gulshan area got out of light for almost 8 hrs on Tuesday, its the same one week back too. Whom should we complain??

backups r a must. coz now a days time is more important then any other thing. and with 6-8 hours of power failure u just imagine how much work would have done.
seems like KESC ppl loves the ancient age so much and they want us to taste it too.

….the issue is not “what back plans should we arrange”… BUT….
“why dont we get from KESC, what we pay for” ?

….had this been a more civilised society they would have been getin themselves in courts…held responsible for everything from deaths due to medical equipement failure to traffic accidents caused by power failure.

abdul sami: we do have a backup generator, but it ran out of petrol. We’re a small company, and no one had a car to go get some more petrol… plus i think the admin guy wanted us to leave early so he could get a headsup on the holiday tomorrow

you ask how to be productive?

    here’s my top 05 list:

    05. clean your desk
    04. practice your handwriting
    03. go out for lunch with a friend you’ve been meaning to meet for a while
    02. read a book (keep a spare book in your desk)
    01. use the time to do social networking with co-workers you normally never meet or hang out with.

there you go. for next time. since there WILL be a next time…

Catch up with sleep, just roll on (or under) the table and cat nap.
