Picture of the Day:II Chundrigar | VVIP movement
VVIP movement created traffic jams on II Chundrigar Road and Shahra-e-Faisal. Adnan Ali
A picture speaks a 1000 words.
Traffic
fog/pollution?
driving ethics
nicely designed ufone hoarding
lack of control over “maximum/minimum height of the buildings in a particular area/street/vicinity
mobilink (0300) being the most popular network used by “Advertisers” (:D),
Wow..
Moral of the story: nothing really, just a good picture. Thought Id share.

Gorgeous pic. Endless possibilities as the good board says.
i know jams are quite long.. but to actually see it like this.. mind boggling :S
i was also caught up in a jam this morning while coming to work.. added 20 minutes to my journey
Ok this is one traffic jam picture that I would like to see again and again :) its jammin’
That’s a great picture – should easily convey the message back home that VVIP movement does has its own repercussion resulting in loss of millions if not more
It a city of 15 million…. and traffic jams are part of metropolitan cities…….. aaaahhh i luv karachi
amazing pic…
Excellent pic
Worth 1000,0 words……… add one zero from my side
Moral of the story: mostly Mush’s movements are kept secret until the last minute but by chance if you get a clue that he would land in karachi then stay away from VIP routes coz dictator just loves to make our lives miserable… and if you can afford to take a day off then do that…
Thank God, I don’t work at IIC anymore. Sharah-e-Faisal’s other lane going towards Nursery Flyover rocks!!!
i am wondering where this picture was shot from
same time same place….?
This picture says:
Its about time this city got Mass Transit.
i heard that a raise ‘light rail’ system is almost about to get installed there… the last few details are being ironed out..
maybe thats why they’re closing down SF for 8 months?
anyway, mass transit system is sorely needed
SF closed for 8 months? that sounds like dooms day… like all these closures for underpasses weren’t enough…
mass transit project has been on papers for last few decades, its still in limbo unless they physically start working on it …
