Karachi Match & Lively Karachiites

First of all thanks to my friend ASAD, who got these videos & pics. Thanks buddy. Also loads of thanks to YAWARKHAN for his videos. This is in line with TM’s post. Thanks TM for that nice post. I would like to add to what TM has said. The match was an absolute fun for everyone, that’s from all the friends who went there to see the match.

Alright, I don’t think there is much on the match itself. Our team won quite comfortably in the end. We wish them best of luck for SA series. Well done boys. The crowd was electrifying & noisy (in positive sense). I guess there were speakers on & then the songs in the background made it a great day. The matched was fully enjoyed by everyone. You can see the The bottle music is shown in the video.

There was this phadda/ larai/ muu mari etc. where the educated ones, once again showed that they may have jeans on them with English in heads they are no different to the rest of lot when mentality comes into play. You can hear the maaro maaro thingy clearly. Don’t know the real story but I guess it was that two groups one in front and other at back side were doing narebaazy when one of the back seated said something really offensive ( read abusive ) to the front side fellows. The guys on the front went back & had verbal muu maari with them. If anyone knows anything on this, let us know. Also in the video you can see Chacha Cricket as lively as ever.

I will second to TM that ladies, also according to Asad, came “basically to see who IS there and who is NOT “& definitely dress to kill. But hey, hang on. Isn’t that suppose to be their right to dress in a way they see fit. It was Hanif Mohammad enclosure. Other people there were I guess pretty comfortable with it. And how many do we get chances to express out in Karachi. According to said friend the ladies were young smart & looked passionate about cricket. I wonder how he judged that passion was for cricket.

And in the end some fireworks, though not that impressive but yet made the match day a memorable one for Karachiites who crave to have fun.

    Nice Post MB……….
besides this maro..maro is a regular feature whenever you go to a match …………..and trust me after being in NSK, you tend to get used to it….besides i have never seen a real phadda! never in atleast seven matches i watched at NSK….
it was after a very long time that a day night match was being held inkarachi …the last time i remeber was in 1998 vs Australia…followed by an unfortunate ban on karachi due to law and order…….

Neways…the experince of watching match at a stadium is always great!…if any one has never been to 1…..make sure to try it out next time.
