Ali Khurshid featured in TIME Person of the Year issue
TIME Magazine has recently announced its Person of the Year and the winner is YOU, that’s right everyone including you who is a part of this digital revolution. I had also posted about the Time Person of the Year a few days back on my blog where I to discussed the upcoming Citizen Media i.e Blogging which has been honored above all personalities to have been the most influential person in 2006. What I had missed in the issue since I don’t subscribe to TIME as I remain a regular reader of Newsweek (mostly because of Fareed Zakaria’s editorial) was the fact that a young Karachiite by the name of Ali Khurshid, has been one of the 15 people of the digital era to have been interviewed and highlighted in the monumental year ending issue. (Credit to Adil Najam of Pakistaniat to have pointed this out by dispatching me an email along with his post on All Things Pakistan)
Ali is not a new name to KMB as he has been highlighted by a number of times by Sufi , by Ramla & also by Nabeel all featuring his brilliance in capturing the mystical scenery of Karachi for us all to share. Ali Khurshid’s mystical lens can be found at his Flickr account .
Karachi is proud to have such brilliant raw talent representing our country and the city of Karachi – Well Done !!
I knew this kid was up to something. Excellent news. Thanks for sharing tm.
Khurshid, Big Big Congratulations to you my man. We are all so proud of you. Great stuff. Keep it coming.
No doubt it is an honour for Pakistan.
On a different note;
Guess What I found on the main page of Wikipedia
today. An article about Allama Iqbal as their main feature.
Tamed~.

Hats off! Congratulations !
Congratulations to the guy but I am not impressed with the article that TIME wrote. It shows how ignorant people are. They are trying to sell idea that there are very less people like him but I guess we have tons of creative energy in our country. It is not selling Karachi or Pakistan rather the guy.
