Millenium Mall-understated?

We all thought people who live in Gulistan-e-Jauhar are devoid of taste. It’s time we think again and clear those preconceived notions.Yes you’ll see boys in tight pants and neon coloured shirts grinning ridiculously. But you’ll also see mommies with push carts and couples in love. This is what it is about.Just like other malls you can grocery shop, eat, and shop in general.Apart from KFC AND Pizza next, you have thunder pins(bowling alley) and a quiet food court.
Millenium mall is a funny name for a mall.It gives you a futuristic image-not excatly Star Trek but something along those lines. But this one certainly has an exciting facade. It is sprawling and one of the significant causes of traffic congestion along Jauher Mor.The interior reminds you of a Lahori Mall,Pace. It is confusing and you forget your way out too-only at times.
What really needs to be done-proper parking space should be allocated. So those who want to see what it’s all about,do not end up getting frustrated.
Also did I mention that it has Indulge too,and its staff will serve you better if speak in English.Whatever it is Millenium mall is here to stay-

Welcome to KMB, Henna. Just one thing, I think the word you’re looking for is “under-rated”? Cos what does “understated” mean in this context?

since i live there and see millenium mall quite often on my way, i would agree with what you have written. its all about the little joys of life that give you immense pleasure amidst todays materialism and violence.
and not to forget that as soon as i uttered some silly words of english, i was granted a table immediately along with quick service and a not so good pina colada.

    * underground parking is available. looks like u never used that. it has the steepest slope.
    * a couple of dvd walas at jauhar think that you are from shikarpur :) (sir ye original hai hahahahah, yeh right)
    * nike shop has all year round sale (till last time I went there)
    * KFC has two very nice seating spots.. one is right in front of the chiller, Yeah .. and if its occupied, stand right there & start staring the people who are sitting there, they will leave very shortly … second one is in the basement, outside the restaurant, its kind of outdoor.. the only outdoor seating arrangement at kfc that I can remember (kfc @ aladin is no more)
    * indulge sucks anyways
    * food court has a pehalwaan lady manager hahaha
    * no more jogis computers (hurray, now I will not be ripped even when its extremely urgent)
    * millennium mall sucks. its suffocating. too many broths. extremely pathetic live music. shops are very tightly packed. dvd walas are rippers. aur na janay kya kya.

hey Henna P — how the Hell are ya ?? let’s see previous posts , no comments as a reader, website points to a KMB page itself ( don’t know if this is just a dumb mistake or you actually think that’s your webpage ) never heard from you in any fiesty or Un-fiesty discussions here on KMB before …
….Dahling makes me believe you are another one of those ” invite-only” …..
“invite-Es” ( pardon my liberties with the language)
    ….you are smiling ..well good . :)
so ….i just hope you are a “invite-E ” who knows how to write unlike Unaiza ..cause frankly sweetheart it’s much easier to deal with a “shoo_in” who knows how to write than the one who does’nt ..and KMB is full of ’em.sighhhhhhhh

if i haven’t welcomed you yet …i am doing it now .just don’t get on a trip about how no one gives a shit about rules in our city and all that crap , youknowwhatimean ‘cuz than someone might call your bluff :)

    happy blogging
    best regards

P.S : i am assuming you are a girl..if you are a guy with a name like Henna .. you have other issues to deal with besides being a author on KMB.

Zahra-I wanted to bullshit convincingly how it was intended to be understated and not under-rated but I am wrong.Thankyou for pointing it out:)

Talking about parking space, so far whichever shopping place I’ve been to has had no room for parking. If you go past sadar, you can see as many as THREE rows of parking, and people drive on 1/3 of the road – which is just so much of a hassle!
