Short-Cut Aziz in Karachi – ARGH !!!

Call it a rant, call it a bitch-blog or simply call it a post out of frustration, but it seems our Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz is in town. Run!!!!, but we all know you simply can’t hide, you are bound to get engulfed in the fiasco of traffic jams which leave our city in utter chaos when any of the big boys happens to grace our traffic infested city.

Shahrah-Faisal is brimming with machars (policewalas) and traffic sipahi’s who have literally blocked off all the side-lanes and other exits to ensure that your journey continues to make a beeline from the airport to saddar without even the permission to look (let alone stop) left or right.

If you are fortunate to be at home, ‘stay there’, but if you are at work and need to drive around then I humbly offer my condolences as you are about to loose a ton of money sitting smack in some traffic jam burning off the recently-reduced-by-Rs.4-petrol in your car, at least now you are better off by approximately 7% since the last price tag on petrol so you have time to now count your blessings

All I can say to the citizens of Karachi, the ‘Lord’ (eff) has landed so Rest In Peace, both literally and figuratively.

Its refreshing to be able to vent ones anger once in a while. It just pisses me off to see the country come to a halt when the Lords grace our city, if someone were to calculate the lost revenue, and tremendous waste of petrol when these hoodlums come to Karachi, I am sure each visit will amount to millions if not more in lost of hard earned revenue, not including the infrastructure deployed to ensure their security.

After all this they have to audacity to stand up and say, that the economy is improving, yeah right! while they do their best to ensure the common man pays for wasted fuel through his nose.

I’m just pissed !!! as I love my country and hate to see these idiots rape it like there was no tomorrow.

…. there now i feel a little better, yet still pissed

Musharaf moves daily between Army House, Rawal pindi and President house, Islamabad.

Rents in several places have gone down because of VIP movement traffic blockage in that area. I know two families which sold there house and relocated just because of this issue. Believe you me, you are not going through anything cause of VIPs

this attitude thing is not helping the traffic problems due to their visits….so inspired by the munna bhai’s gandhi geeri i suggest we stop our engines and start turning out to greet them with bouques and garlands …..atleast we will help control the pollution……and maybe ease the tension which justifies the stringent security measures

last night Saturday 20th Jan 2007 – I was coming from clifton Point / PIM round about to clifton bridge via 70 clifton and UK consulate, a lot of police was around and less of traffic ahead of us and we were discussing what could be reason, soon after we crossed the police kiosk and heading for underpass, i saw plenty of red & blue flashes, my mom got excited started assuming who the bugger could be and if we can stop-by and she can wave at the loser. we choose not to stop but move in corner of the road and proceeded, 8 lead and 6 tail cars plus the 4 pilots on bikes were in the ‘Jaloos’ – and they ended up driving inside the Governer’s House.

Can anyone guess who that could be – As Musshy is in Saudi Arabia, was it Shortcut Ajeej or the sindh governer who is British residency holder and collect unemployment allowances from British Govt and attend to their intrest in KHI.
