Over 400 police officers and men staged a flag march Friday in various parts of the city on the directives of IG Sindh Jahangir Mirza to develop a sense of security among citizens under a security plan for Muharramul Haram. The contingents included 100 motorcycles, 20 police mobiles, 2 police vans and 3 trucks that started the flag march from Police Headquarters Hassan Square.

    I swear by GOD I feel more secure when they are not around
    Why the heck these clumsy exercises.
    If numbers is what they think security is related to then why Iraqi’s feel secure with 140000 American soldiers around , the best Army in the world (with exceptions & skill).

    Those idiots need to trading them mentally morally and then with weapon upgrade & latest tools if they want us to feel secure.

    Glad to see the pic. With an average of 50 cars and 100 phones snatched a day, they have to stick togethe else somebody may do a runner on them as well.

    i had also seen a motorcade of rangers mobiles passing through M A Jinnah road… its simply a waste of fuel and resources…

    as the blast in peshawar shows that mostly dead are police officials so i think its not really wise for these policemen to get together in such formation… god forbid they could be a potential target too…

    I wish people stop critisising our excelent police!!!

    I happened to call 15 last year in Karachi while visiting and within 5 minutes 4 mobiles reported !! not bad for a developing country
