No Traffic jams, no car queues?
For some reasons, there were no traffic jams/ bottle necks observed in Karachi today.
Though it was rush hour 9.30-10.30 but driving towards II Chundrigar road no que of cars was observed at the Regent plaza signal and then the whole II Chundrigar road till the end!
(Heard it on the radio too, don’t remember which chanel it was)
Amazingly there were no jams even on my way back. Some body knows why?
this has happened due to “boycott” by lawyers.
So….is it true that all the lawyers do not know how to drive and cause all the traffic jams then? Seems like a great idea to keep them off then. First they hide behind the mask of justice to fight for their injustice and now they are the cause of all the traffic jams in the city. Hmmmmm!!!
Well, I have experienced worst jams in last 2 days as university road from old sabzi mandi to jail chowrangi is dug up and all traffic is switched to SF via National Stadium. Bhadurabad and adjacent roads are in bad condition due to rain water and on going development work.
Why not somebody take the cdgk to court?
No offence guys and Unaiza, but this forum just reached a new low with this topic.
This is absolutely the most boring discussion i have come thru at KMB, people commentign why there are no trafic jams !
cheers
people were glued to their TVs in their living rooms thats why…
does cricket ring any bells unaiza :p
world cup fever starting :D
@ MAnsoor: but during day time???Did you notice the timings. I had teh same thought but then people @ II Chundrigar road cant sit at home because of cricket
not glued to TV for the cricket…! the things that were unfolding in Islamabad all day were far more interesting then the boring cricket match….

Wow , i just clicked thru the above and there were a lot of harsh words, Unaiza you gotta find some serious stuff to discuss here
i can’t seem to find any thing wrong with this post… as a karachiite she finds it odd that traffic on the road is less as compared to other working days…
