Musharraf, Media – Pressure, Principles

( Related : 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8) of all a BIG salute to our media for its bravery in the face of severe pressure, latest proof being the removal of Karachi-based investigative reporter Kamran Khan’s program. Any idea, anyone?

(Latest :Internet & telephone system has started malfunctioning in Pakistan.(credit :ARY,GEO,AJJ)

At the same time one should be thankful to same president for allowing so many channels at first place though proper freedom is a far cry. One should give credit where its due even if this tech revolution was inevitable. One must give full credit to all newspapers too for upholding truth. Along with TV channels they are saving nation from the any hide & seek game (e.g. Advocate Singh issue) & is trying its best to pass the test of the time.

The Nation‘s photo (top-right) is one latest example of print media bravery considering the gov. is in the hands of men in uniform with a stick in hands.
(Image : BBC Urdu,The Nation) awareness about freedom of speech & rights has increased but I guess it’s still confined to cities. The 70% village population lives in worst of conditions. There is a severe lack of investigative journalism & the ingredient of diversity is lacking too. The real issues are in the background & once in a while jump in front when disasters struck.

The way every hypocrit in the world is jumping on this bandwagon is just hilarious…soon the fricking taliban will be crying crocodile tears about pakistani cruelty too :)
Noone in karachi gives enough of a $hit because though we recognze that the govt has its evil face we are sick of every other evil face in the country and with our system new blood is impossible so its going to be the greatest hits again bibi or baba or bibi or baba….
I am actually very proud of the way alot of press people have handled themselves …screw the judiicary they are the biggest jokers themselves which is why we have always had so much justice in pakistan …but the press must be free and must fight for freedom ….i am completely on their side on that

Im usually a troll on this great site (I read more than I comment), but somethings have to be said.
Kudo’s to MB & Crew for keeping the ppl abreast of the happenings. A lot has already been said so I wont harp about Mush being a d**k & this latest escapade of his being tragic.
Simply put, this CJ was incompetent for the present enviorment. Dint someone tell him never to challenge the ‘Supreme Power’?
How dare he muck around with Mush & Short-Cut Aziz?
Who the hell is he to listen to the Honurable General Qayumm & halt the sale of Pakistan Steel?
Does he not realise that by doing so he cost Aziz another Flat in Knightsbridge & how does he expect Mush’s son to pay for landscaping at his Maryland mansion?

How dareth this CJ question Aziz’s dual nationality and foreign passport. Damn the constitution!. If Mush says he is the PM then thats how it flys.

Who is he to ask the government regarding the where abouts of the so called ‘Missing Peoples’??

There is no such thing as missing ppl. Its all a lie. A propoganda by External, nay Zionist forces to destabalise and mis-guide the poor sheep, Oops, i meant People of our country.

Who is he to question, when & IF the elecions will take place next?. Does he not know the basic rules of Chain of Command!??. The Officer (in this case Mush) orders & irrespective of their personal thoughts, the peons obey.

The CJ got what he deserved for doing his job whilst everyone else is licking ass & filling their piggie banks.

He will get away with this, but General sahab: Duniya goal hai. What goes around, comes around.

10 bucks says this guy imposes Marial Law by 2008.
Marial law = no elections. 0 accountability. He fulfills all his and his Masters (Insert foreign power here) fantisies. End result= he dies a dogs death.

    2 additional things….just a tad off topic.
    a) Altaf. STFU. No one cares what you say u whore. “Im very dissapointed that the Government did not take us into confidence”. Who the hell do u think you are?? Last i remember you and you ‘Party’ are considered terrorists by every watch group. Do everyone a favour and go sodimize your self with a 6′ Cactus.

    b) With respect to everyone and their cats. I recently acheived ‘legal age’ (21 and above) & may not have a lot of XP, but isnt this Information Minister the biggest Chuitya you have ever seen. The first time i saw anything about him was on the 4manshow (AAJ TV) & After watching him on tv, they got it sopt on. What a Douche.
    Check out:
from 05:30 onwards to see for yourselves.

& if someone like me missed the Law minister abusing LIVE on National TV, check out : (Ansar Abbasi’s comments = Spot on).

Btw the vid is not the infamous “EYE AIM THA LA” (I am the law) which he uttered on Thursday when someone pointed out that their actions were against the constitution & the Law of the Land. They had to cut to commercials as he started abusing again. Oh well, what can u expect from a Nai (Barber).

last nite on GEO Hamid Mir show, for the first time, i truly felt pitty for M.Ali Durrani.

he was almost on verge of crying…..and simply surrendered..but still refuse to resign though!

  17. d0ct0r (unregistered) on March 17th, 2007 @ 7:35 pm

yea Hamid Mir tried his best to get a resignation from the minister but this guy won’t give resignation coz he is a selected Senator, instead of elected MNA and chances of him getting elected ever are very slim.. so the only was to stay in power is by licking dictator’s boot and defending and justifying his sin in front of whole nation

  18. d0ct0r (unregistered) on March 18th, 2007 @ 12:21 am

this is hilarious… Mush is now putting all the blame on govt… he says he haven’t got anything personal against the CJ and he only sent the reference to SJC which govt sent him…. dictator seems to have finally guessed that he has made a blunder and is trying to do some damage control when his incompetent minister miserably failed to control situation
