Relax , the GOD was not willing actually majority is cursing the team, I see it otherwise. It’s good to hit the ground to feel reality which the concerned ignored for 3 years (enough time for preparation). Also, WIN makes us blind & forget real & permanent issues i.e cricket structure at lower level.

Still, this post is just about latest statement by Inzi according to which: The GOD was not willing to give us a win OR Its just bad luck. How sweet of you, Inzi ustaad. At least you are now safe from MMA & Co.
But before you get angry, consider these important points raised by me & OWK (other post), showing great benefits that either Inzi or GOD picked for us :
1. No more electricity consumption by all those TVs in late hours. (good for KHI especially)
2. We saved those carore rupees promised to players (good for gov.)
3. Employees will concentrate on work. (good for business)
4. No TV ads. showing our players as Supermen (good for kids, who believe that chewing gum or PEPSI, & not hard work , means success)

Now that you guys are world-famous finally we have a non-political, funny AND positive post. A breath of fresh air. And that cartoon is hilarious.

I do not mind his statement “The God was not willing”. Many times I have tried my best to do some thing and it just did not happen. Now I am a very firm believer of the fact that “We never know what is good for us so we should be happy in what ever we get as result”

    They made us cry….very disappointing

our team was in total disarray… i am not surprised at all …. Chairman Cricket board was selected coz he was Mush friend… he constantly had differences with the captain.. and all the mess going on in team
naturally affected the morale of players(some of `em were not even on talking terms) … doping issues … we were doomed even before our team left for Caribbeans…

Inzi will stand down as captian… Chairman PCB should also stand down.. and some other professional should be chosen who knows cricket and
    understands the boys well…

what would be more pathetic is if we see the return of past jerks like faisal iqbal, misbah ul haq. and talk about great players, inzi makes us doubt that he was ever one.

Pakistanis are in true colors and displaying jahalat by cursing team. I was reading comments by different people given in papers like “moo kala karna” etc etc. Many of those would be the people who hold degree of Bachelors and Masters. Shame on you Pakistanis!

Fine Team didn’t play well but how ignorant our pakistanis are that for them Pakistani team is just 11 guys who perform in team. I wish it was true but reality is different. How jahil and ignorant you pakis are that you forgot that same inzy gave you victory in England,India and in Westindies. How the heck you ignorants forget that Pakistani team have been facing different crisis for one year? How do you forget tat new Chairman kept busy himself in making controversaries. dope tests, religion factor, Bob-Shoaib Scandal. Even in current WC, Umar Gul was called for random dope tests. Now can you guys prove yourself strong enough to bear all such crap and still perform well inyour respective fields? I know you can’t. You guys are just displaying your retardness, ignorance and nonsense by cursing 11 guys only and paying no attention how the filthy PCB screwed their spirits.

I know these words won’t make any difference because you guys need some excuse to demonstrate your frustration. You guys have right to react but in civilized manner. To be honest Pakistani Team needs more support of Pakistanis today than ever. Compare this team with team of last 2 worldcups. Unlike previous teams, they DID WON matches. They first time stood 3rd in World Ranking. What wasim gave to you? what waqar and amir sohail gave to you? NOTHING but humiliation,a constant humilation. I wish you guys could understand it but then you people have decided not to getrid of utter ignorance which has become hallmark of yours. I have no issue with Inzy and Team. They did entertain us for more than 2 DAMN years. This is more than expectation. I am with Pakistani team but NOT with filthy gang of bastards who control PCB and policies

in a team where the coach didn’t understood urdu and player didn’t understood english…debacle like this was waiting to happen… and i don’t blame that poor
coach.. its our PCB officials that are to be blamed.. Dr sitting at the helm of affairs didn’t deserved to be Chairman…

  9. Adnan Siddiqi (unregistered) on March 18th, 2007 @ 3:27 pm

@Doctor: Yep,PCB will kick everyone out,The coach, the captain and few guys but no action will be taken by the president against Chairman PCB. This mentality is not different than the mentality who suspended poor police jawans who got into GEO office ISB but not the mastermind who initiated the order.

The Current PCB higher ups should be made “NON-Functional” without a delay:)

it also includes Pres. Mush! he is the patron in chief of PCB. he should gracefully take all the blame and risign!

this is the best advise anyone can give Mush at the moment.

it would be the quickest way of him extracting himself from the CJ controvercy…i c no other respectable way out of this for him!

  15. F. AHMED (unregistered) on March 18th, 2007 @ 4:29 pm

my preferred manner in which these people should be made “non-functional” is by breaking their legs at least at 10 places….

I was praying to GOD that we loose.. the rain had me jittery.. didn’t want the match to be abandoned.

Oh come on, What’s wrong with you people, *Jootay kay haar*?.Yes, our team lost and we are disappointed. But instead of looking into what caused our problems via proper channels such as inquiry etc , you people are talking nonsense.
So plzzzzzzzzz cool down and come down if you are suicidal and planning to take your life by hanging from a fan.

  20. Sathish (unregistered) on March 18th, 2007 @ 7:38 pm

Someone shall file a reference against the PCB Chief and he must become NON-Functional along with those who are in WEST Indies on expense of nation.

Bring in all players of squad immediately and let the nation decide what to do with them. Only this way general can survive the current wave of violance., euphoria of CJ crisis.

as poo said that old players would be happy after this defeat. I was honoured to hear comments by Tasleem Arif who brought some points which made me laugh. One of his point was that captain shouodn’t ave been much powerful. First of all Inzy was not a powerful captain and cricketers like Yunius,Shoaib,Afridi had a fight with them. Second I personally believe that captain should be powerful otherwise PCB politics damage everything. We experienced it in past. Imran i suppose the most powerful captain in history of Pakistani cricket even he had ifluence in PCB board of directors[Thanks to Majid Khan] I saw Intikhab was criticizing Inzy too. Intikhab tries to take credit of 92 victory while 100% credit goes to Imran who was more powerful than a coach at that time. Others ex retards like Aaqib,Amir Sohail,Sarfaraz who did nothing in their own era would be desprate to give some statment against Inzimam because this is what they wanted to see.

What I personally believe that there should be no cricket on Int’l level in Pakistan. Infact no sports. I remember people were cursing similarly to Pakistan in 87 when Wasim Jaffar gave 18[?] runs in last over when Steve Waugh who was playing worldcup very first time screwed the dream of Pakistan. People were cursing Imran and co at that time. Then same Imran was worshipped in 92. We then cursed our teams in similar fashion in 96,99 and 2003. I personally believe that it’s easier to fight enemies on borders than becoming part of mainstream sports of Pakistan because people just get ready to humiliate you and I believe it’s a very hard time for the people who suffer.

Did Inzi explain why Allah did not want the team to win, despite him and et all bowing down at least 5 times a day and have the mile long beards? Then what would Allah respond to?

Does Allah like Catholics more than Tablighis these days?

@Dee: ahahhaah. You might be surprised that people did commit sucide after defeat of 96 and 99 worldcup. I hope it doesn’t happen now.

Enjoy the todays matches guys. It seems that Dutch are willing to give a tough time to Aussies.

  25. d0ct0r (unregistered) on March 18th, 2007 @ 9:42 pm

@adnan said “You might be surprised that people did commit sucide” … most of them were involved in betting and had gambled every thing on the team’s fate…

reports are coming in that Bob wolmer the pakistani coach suffered a heart attack… poor guy.. he was found in unconsious state in his room… he is currently in ICU in critical condition(i hope he didn’t committed suicide..)
chances of him surviving are slim…

Indded a sad news. May his soul rest in peace. This news is more unexpected than the defeat of Pakistan. He was a good coach regardless of he used to earn more salary.

I think now players who would be running campaign to earnt the seat of Coach would think once again as coaching Pakistan is a DEADLY thing. One of 16 guys finally RIP.

Now INdians would be very cautious about another foriegn and aged coach Chappal. So either India make some arrangements for Chappal or perform good.

  37. ash (unregistered) on March 18th, 2007 @ 11:54 pm

if we need to hire foreign we need to hire aussie, all the other guys have too much ghairat to handle us…India took a very sensible decision , Chappal ko koi fark nahain parna ke pardada sub chakki peesnye ke aadi hain…they have even less shame than us.

    it’s such a shock:))

he was a very descent man working among besharam people.

yesterday i heard Wasim Bari, the chief of selectors, sayinh he won’t resign and also saying that it’s not his fault and the tam and management are to blame too.

if that beyghairat has an ioto of shame he should resigh now. everyone knows he will be fired, why can’t he, and others involved, go gracefully!?

  43. Your Hero (unregistered) on March 19th, 2007 @ 10:21 pm

Cricket is more that a just a game for us Pakis. Inzi’s statement is lame. God gave him the opportunity to play and win, he blew it. what a loser.. I strongly disagree that the players represetning PAKISTAN were the best available ones. Under fair selection and right management, we can still rule the world.
