Papoo yaar gand na ker

Loose ends Pakistan is a group of people who are trying to make this country a better place to dwell in.

It is carrying two projects currently to raise awareness in people, not to litter our streets and follow traffic rules. Papoo yaar gand na ker is a safai mohim in association with DHA and CBC .
Saw this banner at the back of HOT & SPICY and then researched on the papoo’s mohim.
I’m glad that people really want to work making this country a better place.

    Ha…ha…very funny.

    They should put up these banners all across the city. Esp. in high density areas of GI, GJ and Nazimabad.

    :D funny slogans.. Their other projects also revloves around “Pappu”. I wonder if these campaigns are effective. Firstly the campaign is in DHA, I think one of the cleanest area, may be its another joke from them. Secondly even if this event/walk is in some other parts how would it be effective on illiterate persons which are the actual pappus spreading gand. Thirdly all of us are familiar with “Safai nisf Imaan Hai” hadith and it is ineffective so what else can do that.
    In the end its free time activity of rich guys. It would be better if they have contributed amounts for educational improvements.

    @BitterTruth, If someone has good intention to do the job … infact good or bad, the job itself ‘to clean’ is good, so I think we should appreciate.

    I would add one thing, just cleaning would not be enough how much can you clean? how much the govt. will clean? ppl should be taught not to spread gandh surrounding their area. The best place to teach would be at the school level. I didnt mean that kids spread gandh but if they will learn at that level they will better learn and implement in their life. Its not just cleanliness a lot of stuffs should be taught at school level, but in our school they just dont teach kids the normal behaviour of life.

    @Unaiza, you write the blogs with this name and you write your comments with the nick UZI, why its like that ???
    Another thing, plz change the roman english to ‘Pappu’ instead of ‘Papoo’ and ‘gandh’ instead of ‘gand’, banner main bhi galat spelling hai gandh ki.

    I agree. I think my last comment was more bitter then it should be.

    Oops Unaiza … sorry my mistake, I thought UZI and Unaiza are same, I concluded that bcoz of Haseeb’s comments earlier for UZI as “

    Haseeb yaar tum bhi buhat bari film ho :) lekin aapas ki baat hai, I agree with you.

    @Murtaza yaar gandh na kar.

    although the mohim of the campaign sounds very funny and unprofessional but i think it is result of creative thinking with sincere intentions, becasue the selection of the words and the phrasing is done in such a way which addresses mainly to the masses. This sort of slang is easy for them to understand, remember, and follow(hopefully). A good start and highly appreciated with all sincerity.
