Summer is back!

Yes ladies and gentlemen, all the signs are here.
Raw mangoes available in the markets, quails, unbelivably sizzling heat outside..and how can we forget…power cuts.

Power cuts have been goin on around the whole city for almost the last 2 week, with a generally increasing frequency and timings that get weirder and weirder.

Thankfully, power cuts are now time tracked. I remember about 3 years ago, when there was a power cut, you could not even hope to see it back in an hour!

I guess these power cuts go a long way in reminding us of the fact that electricity should not be taken for granted, even if you pay for it through your nose!

Health tips for summer:

Drink lots of water (do not drink water immediately after coming from outdoors though, rest for a few mins. dont expose yourself to the AC either)
Make sure you have access to clean water. Hepatitis is on the rise these days.
Use yogurt and onions with your meals. Use a breath freshener too if onions concern you.

Summer fascinates me for its long and quiet afternoons just like winters have long silent nights.Perfect time for reading fiction, doing some tiny repairs for home or having a nice siesta.

unless kunda and power theft is not controlled the power shortage problem will continue… i mean just imagine how on earth can that estimate the actual consumption when they don’t even know how much are the kunda users consuming…
