Karachi Lawyers taking lead

Finally Karachi Lawyers took the lead today by participating in large numbers in ongoing country wide protest by lawyer fraternity. Latest is they have staged a sit-in in front of CM house (indirectly hitting the CM who has taken gov. side).

Reason being the clear conquer of Sindh by CJP when he addressed the bar few days back. 15 SHC Judges participated in it sending a clear & unanimous message to Islamabad in this crisis. This probably boosted the spirits of lawyers here to a great deal.

Farooq Sattar proved winner in Capital Talk yesterday defending MQM rally in Karachi very well but found no answer to a question on why they didn’t come out in CJP issue especially about the way CJ was humiliated. He instead, turned his guns towards JI with a burst of other questions.

With Altaf Hussain having a clear support from Karachi, will he ever take a turn & direct his gun towards gov, especially when on previous occasions he has taken bold stances on provincial autonomy & role of Army in politics for which he is also paying some price.

For Altaf Hussain to move, there needs to be a catch, quid pro quo.

MQM always alleged relegious parties that they brings up country issue to Karachi, but this time MQM brings Islamabad issue in Karachi, which do nothing with Karachites.

Its not more than the *election campaign* for upcoming election, why moderator of this forum ignored all those pictures in which green plate no.cars are moving, in which snarcle is using for video coverage, in which KESC machinay is using, in which town nazims are welcoming the participants, in which salma agha supposed to be representing our sisters.

    Its all is drama

Altaf just gauges public sentiment… if he see the Iftikar Chaudry comming out as winner in reference then he’ll start giving statements(in his demonic voice and jungli accent) against govt and if he smells Iftikar Chaudry loosing the case in Judicial council then he’ll simply continue to beat the drum of “danda bardar shariat” and all that crappy stuff to divert the attention and ease of the headache of of Musharraf govt…

    MB, ure funny! :).

“With Altaf Hussain having a clear support from Karachi, will he ever take a turn & direct his gun towards gov”

The quaid-e-tehreek might be retarted, but even he will not bite the hand that feeds him (Yet).

& any idiot starting a “Kya baat kar rahe ho, Mush/Gov is not MQM”,

How do u explain these ****’s being granted a ticket 3 days b4 the election in AJK & Winning?.

The CJ is playing his cards correct, staying in the public eye & gaining as much support as he can. But w/e gov has decided, they will execute it.

“who tore down a potrait of CM Arbab Gulam Raheem”

    CRAP! :|

Next thing, there will be FIR’s being launched against ppl killing/injuiring KAWA’s!! :P

I just couldnot forgive Altaf Hussain for sitting down in the assembly when NS was extending the quota system for the next 20 years. That was the reason behind establishment of MQM. May be he was hoping that he will be around after 20 years and can trade the votes again with that government.

Let the ignorant Taliban and Talibat of illegal Lal Masjid become the rulers of Pakistan. If you think things are bad now, see how quickly these baffoons destroy the country.

    correction. The word is buffoon.

I am actually a sindhi so I don’t support Altaf in any form or shape generally. But I do agree with him on this count. whatever his motives, he brought the sentiments out. Who in Pakistan would dare stand upto these manhoos moulvis? altaf takes the lead, fine with me.
Sometimes one should appreciate a political opponent for finally taking a stand on the right issues. I hope more Pakistanis in Sindh, Punjab and Baluchistan would stand up to these moulavi.

For the people of smaller provices, it is important that the army’s B teram, the moulvi is politically isolated. If the C team of the army MQM plays a role in it, better it would be. It is good politics to exploit opponents differences.

Go altaf do some more. on this issue, hum tumaharay saath hain.
