Beating the Heat: The Poor man’s swimming pool.
We curse KESC to our heart’s delight if in the scorching mid-day heat, we are deprived of our afternoon siestas in air conditioned rooms.
We whine.
We complain.
We protest.
These kids who’ve probably never known the comfort of an air conditioner prove more resourceful. They find their own swimming pools to splash into.
AH…. the comfort of Air Conditioner and discomfort of Load Shedding
Couldnt they just go to the beach?
They wont have kiraya probably. I guess its better to enjoy here then spend money, reach Sea view & enjoy. Also, the water there & here may have only color as difference.
I had the opportunity to attempt swim in a neher & i tell you what. Its betta than the swimming pools. Its more fun but yeah at the cost of cleanliness.
MB are you matching this with a neher!? :o
there is a hell lot of difference between a neher and whts shown in the pic!
right so the only difference would be water color, i can bet the gutter pool water will be cleaner than the filty black water at seaview
Beating the Heat: The Poor man’s swimming pool..
that’s a good analysis..
Kids would be always kids. Try to see the positive perspective and smile would come to you.
that other kid with bycyle is also parking his cycle to take a dip :P … puddle right in the middle of the road…atleast our water problems will be solved if we start digging our roads.. water at your doorstep…
@Huzefa
by not going to the sea they have probably saved themselves from getting drowned:)
they are poor but are not stupid!
