“The special taste you cannot replace”- KFC
The day I received a compensation from NANDOS due to the incident faced at one of their branches (A T-Shirt, a 
table calendar, a Rs. 500 voucher to be used at NANDOS) I faced this incident with KFC.
We bought two fish zingers and a hot-shots bucket and one of the fish zingers’ bun had fungus on it!
Since it was bought from Nursery KFC, which is nearby we went again to complain and get it replaced. The manager when saw the bun said (to the attendant) “yeh subha ka hay ruk jao abhi” I told him we bought it at 12:57(the time was punched on the bill as well) and it was refrigerated. Whereas the fungus looked old. (Fine, the bun was not fresh). All of a sudden the manager came up with a new excuse saying “It’s tartar sauce”. “It got dried”
“What? Tartar sauce?” (Where in the world is tartar sauce green?) By the way, there was no sauce in the burger. It was ordered as plain Fish burger with only the fish piece and the bun.
We requested a humble replacement on which the manager said ” Mein aap ko change ker deta hoon magar weham ka koi ilaj nahin!”
I felt like hitting him hard at this but took my new zinger and walked towards the car.
On my way towards teen talwar, I again felt like going to the teen talwar wala KFC (with which I already had enough bad experiences). Something drove me there.
I ordered a chicken zinger.( this time with only lettuce). The order was delivered in time, fair enough.
I took the zinger and once again walked to the car. Only on opening the box I felt a pungent smell of chlorine.
Now, what is this?
I diced a piece of lettuce and there, it was it. It tasted like chlorine. Again, I took the zinger back and told the staff person what the problem was. Now this guy was a humble one to accept the fault though after a little argument. He tried to convince me that they sterilize it with chlorine and I was like “This strong” even my fingers were stinking with the smell.
Finally the burger was replaced and I got a zinger again with only the chicken piece (No lettuce, no mayonnaise and no cheese)
What rix said + dont bother arguing with em. no use. Just tell them what u want & that u rnt interested in their bs.
KFC has eternally been natorious, stick to ones with high circulations (Boat Basin) & u should be O.K.
Once my burger had a dead fly in it (I know gross, luckily im pretty finiky abt food & noticed it before taking a bite).
The manager refused to admit there was a problem & later was pretty hesitant to give me a refund. (lost my appitite).
Never had any problems at Nando’s & id recommend it over others as atleast its real meat. (Not processed crap like the McD’s).
I recently had a bad experience with Nandos here in Australia. The burger’s bun was full of black fungus! These things can happen with any franchise/restaurant..
There are constant complains about food quality and service on this site. I think you guy’s need to relax and maybe enjoy the food. If you don’t like it then eat at home. People act is if they were eating at the White House with the president and expect wonders. KFC is a fast foods restaurant maybe people need to realize that. In Pak it might be considered to be a really nice place but overseas its just like having our own tehlay walas on the side of the road food place. Its cheap food.
THE KEY WORD IS ” FASTFOOD”….cAN get anyTHING ON fOOD… ONE KFC IN US was full with RATS ROAMING around eVERYWhere…. GEt use to it, OR just EAT Gud Old DESI FOOD !!!!:D

Once bitten twice shy – learn from it. Momin woh hay jau aik soorakh say dau baar dansa nahi jaata. What’s so unique in KFC that you tend to go there again and again?, despite the bad experiences and all.
@ UNAIZA NASIM,,,,,Are these KFC not doing any business? Fungus can not grow over night it takes 3to 7 days?and cholrine would have destroyed the Lattuce or could have discolored the texture?Looks like you love fast food and you want to eat FOR FREE?Why you will go to KFC twice in a day WHERE THERE ROTTEN FOOD?????????
You sure seem to eat out a lot, aur woh bhi at crappy places. Take a break from fast food unaiza and try some homemade daal chawal–no fungus, no chlorine, good for you in this heat.
I’m sorry to say but the fact that you keep going back to these fast food joints day in and day out should be a cause of shame for you.

– Subway is better option, least bread is fresh and then you can see & choose what you need in the sand-a-witch

Fast Food is fast to get “BAD” no doubts in it, clock time to trash is not what is practically possible in PK at any fast food joint.

eww that’s totally GROSS. but yea, like others suggested, eat “ghar ka khaana” lol but to be very honest, i hate KFC, Burger King, etc, anyway.. i prefer Subway or Taco Bell over them =)
i guess the point is, if we pay, the least you could do is ensure quality while serving food. KFC consistently fails to do that. have seen so many ppl argue with the managers in various branches regarding the kind of food they are serving.
so Cupola(the own it , rght?) should take notice of this.

I personally am not a KFC, mcdonald, pizza hut fan … other fast foods around are much better – subway is great too … rest of these international chains loot you and sucks …!
