Karachi Witnesses an Organized Massacre

It is indeed sad to see the situation in Karachi get progressively worse. It can be easily said that all this was bound to happen since MQM was destined to create a stand-off for this day. Their ‘Pur Aman’ rally was probably the biggest hoax played onto the people of Karachi.

Being a staunch supporter of the CJP issue I was destined to join the hundreds to greet CJP today. From late last night I had reported on KMB the numerous blockades being created well up to three in the morning where it seemed the official machinery was being used to cater to the demands of MQM. MQM workers were freely allowed to roam the streets quite literally telling people to stay in doors or else….

I joined the rally of thousands of supporters near Nursery to approach the airport by foot today around 12:30pm the rally was peaceful and chanting slogans in support for the CJP. It was completely peaceful, we were forced to use the opposite lane since the lane heading towards Shahrai-Faisal was cordoned off by the authorities. The rally pressed onwards until they came up to the Balauch Colony bridge where we were clearly observing MQM motorbikes and snipers taking aim at the crowd and very soon all hell broke loose as the first shots were in deed fired from the top, more specifically from the corner of the down ramp from Balauch Colony bridge, towards the crowd. It appeared to be targeted firing and was definitely not any move by the authorities. A number of people were seeing lying on the streets injured or dead but the crowd quickly dispersed all around.

What still irks me is the fact that the ‘ghundas’ of MQM were let loose yet again fully supported by the Sindh government to clash with the opposite party at every possible intersection in Karachi. Upon my return home safely I saw Waseem Akhtar taking to a Geo reporter laying the entire blame of all the deaths onto the head of the CJP, quite literally I wanted to puke right there and then. The images we are seeing on TV are also shocking beyond belief showing hundred of MQM supporters fully armed casually walking on the streets taking aim without a worry of the consequences.

If this is not enough proof of the state sponsored terrorism (MQM and Musharraf) then I wonder what is? I plead to all half-hearted MQM supporters please wake up, you cannot let this party rule over your minds, it is without doubt the biggest terrorist organization in Karachi and its time we stand up and say enough is enough.

God Help Us all

Excellent choice of words Awab, you are so very much true when you said that someone has to be honest enough here and expose the terrorist organization which has wreaked havoc in Karachi. Way to go Doc, you rock! We have had enough of the Mutahida taking advantage of a peaceful Karachi, but I wonder when and if this would ever stop. These guys can get a million people of roads at any given time, but out of the million is isn’t there one sane soul who understands their ulterior motives of creating havoc in our city. MQM has time and again targeted the peaceful residents of Karachi and it is people like us who bear the brunt…but will this ever stop?

After reading all the comments, which took me quite some time, I hardly came across a single one which was in favor of the MQM. Here I believe we have an educated lot and see the reality, loud and clear. And if I am right, 99% supporters of the Mutahida are illiterates who can lay their lives for the ‘Pir of London’. Isn’t it time someone educated them of his motives in using the common Karachi resident? I heard his speech on TV and I am sure most will agree with me that he sounded more like a bollywood actor than a political figure…he sings, he cries, he jokes, he amuses and he pleads…it sounded more of a magic show than a speech…yet people are ready to die for him…Doses he ever imagine for a minute of what will happen once the curtains are down for him and when he is questioned on the day to judgment?

Dial M*Q*M for murder. When the government security apparatus ally themselves with the “goonda” party – whose traits and methods of mayhem they share than what to talk of the fate of such a nation. These “goondas” have been able to secure police protection to carry out the murder and mayhem in the city of Karachi speaks volume about the type of leadership – who will go to any length to protect their “kursi”. This is out-and-out State Terrorism.

They got latest guns and i never saw those kinds of guns in my life except in Counter Strike (the famous shooting game).
I know ppl of our muhala and am living here since my birth so i can identify all of them even anybody in my muhala can identify them. to yeh kehna chaayy panay ki baat hay k MQM nay kuch nahi kia.
MQM is a terrorist organization and its fact you can’t deny. Bhatta khori…killing…harassment…bollywood film style gunda raaj…chmapoo bollywood movie say inspired log….yeh sab identity hay in zaleel logo ki.

@GEO or GENAY DO, that’s a new perspective …about “URDU SPEAKING PEOPLE”…If you have a little bit sense & honor left in you & you are not got completely blind by racism and of course JAHALAT, you shouldn’t say some thing like this to your “MOHSINS” who gave their lives and every thing for this piece of land that you were living in under the RAJ of Hindus & Sikh’s & your fore fathers used to clean their shits being their humble servants. I know its a bit harsh & humiliating but that’s the truth & can’t be denied. So my friend if you have a little bit respect & honor left in you, you should be appreciative and be thankful to these “URDU SPEAKING PEOPLE” who gave you this freedom (seems you never deserved)& turned the ass licker slaves of the land into the Lords of the land. Open your eyes and don’t forget who you were. Be thankful to Allah Subhano Tala & those who become the mean of your salvation. Just imagine your condition of misery if these “URDU SPEAKING PEOPLE” haven’t done what they did for you “EHSAN
    FARAMOSH’s”

This information is being given from an insider. You know that the plan to attack AAJ TV office in Karachi was made in the Ministry of Information in Islamabad in the morning of May 12. Mr Tariq Azim, the Minister of State and Syed Anwar Mahmood, Secretary of Information (on extension after retirement) took the high-ups into confidence about the usefulness of such an attack. Anwar Mahmood, who having a Bihari origin has close links with the MQM, spoke on phone to Altaf Hussain in London and discussed the scheme of teaching a lesson to the AAJ TV with the MQM Chief. After Altaf Hussain’s approval instructions were issued to MQM workers in Karachi to start the attack and in the meanwhile the government provided them full shelter by ensuring that no Rangers or Law Enforcing agecy was present around the AAJ tv offices for almost 6 hours.

This is madness….. simple, pure madness…. Its hard to find a semblence of reality for a situation like this and I can’t even begin to imagine what it would be like to live through this. My heart goes out to all of you. Yet the last vestige of hope was stamped out by Hussan’s post. In such a crises like this is it necessary to refer to your fellow countrymen as “Kute” and “shit cleaners”, whatever the “truth may be”? Is it necessary that we must substitute bigotry with a another third class prejudice. And are you also not representative of the same racism you were trying to bash, whatever again the “truth may be”. And here we were referring to ourselves as educated!

The whole world is one side condeming Altaf Hussain who directed these massacres while sitting from his den of terrorists in London and Musharraf is proudly portraying this terrorist organisation as ‘big political party.

MQM stands exposed purely as a terrorist outfit in the garb of a political party. His Goebbles, Farooq Sattar, keeps throwing dust in the eyes of the world by saying that MQM was a peaceful movement and he did not know who was brandishing Kalashinkovs and firing on people. These so called political leaders of the MQM must understand that in this era of electronic media no one can deny the events which have been recorded live and flashed on TV screens.

Geo and Jang have reported that MQM is considering to pull out of the government.

Typical of Altaf Hussain’s blackmailing tactics. Musharraf will be upset because if Altaf decides to opt out of the government then Musharraf’s government in Sindh and possibly in the centre will fall. So Altaf will extract maximum benefit out of Musharraf.

where are those pathan MQM lovers who have been screaming on MQM rally with “RASHA RASHA ALTAF RASHA” tell them to come out and see the real face of him.
most of the people who attended this “pur aman rally” were forced to attend this rally.even on my shop they came and ordered that they want two persons from my family to attend this rally,if not then……………

It is tragic that Mohajirs who fled India for Pakistan, imposed their language on us (turning us into illiterates overnight) and have occupied senior positions in government and private sectors have turned on Pakistan by supporting the terrorist/extortionist gang called MQM.

There are Mohajirs who have domiciles of Sind, NWFP, Punjab, Balochistan, even FATA.

By claiming Karachi, don’t they risk turning the rest of Pakistan on them?

Do they really think they can take the lifeline of Pakistan (i.e., Karachi) and claim it for their own.

If they are not prepared to live as law abiding Pakistanis and equal stakeholders then it is time the rest of Pakistan reclaimed Karachi and imposed Pakistani law rather than goonda rule.

i DON’T THINK SO ALL OTHER PARTIES PEOPLE WERE COMING AFTER UMRA! IN FACT ALL HAVE MORE OR LESS SAME TYPE OF PEOPLE.

WHEN ONE WOULD SAY THAT OTHER PARTIES WERE WITH WEAPONS AND HIT MQM TOO THEN EVERYBODY WOULD SAY, “it was fake and not true even if the video is shown”.

    SO WHO IS RIGHT????

Media these days have become a non-sense.
Nobody understands what Journalism is. showing live footage and effort to throw wrapped words and sentences doesn’t make it journalism.

Aaj TV has cornered itself, as one friend when heard all this, she asked “Is Aaj TV related to Jamaat Islami or Peoples Party or any other opposition party?”

My point is, non of the media institution should be that biased that people would think them from one thought of school.

I watched transmission and was having impression that Aaj TV was doing its all to go against MQM or whoever.

Did MQM killed their workers too? Why Aaj didn’t cover that? I am not with any party but with just stuff.

All commentary was just verbal fight was to show hatred against MQM.

No media is supposed to with nobody!!

This is the first step towards neutral journalism. But the problem is our people are of short temper. I’d expect some harsh comments after mine.

Only thing that can change media, institutions and political parties is education, knowledge and honesty.

This is a thought of those who were sleeping and for free a country was given to them
These were those who broke Pakistan into two. Who killed Bangali’s in East Pakistan
    and let whole nation suffered.

    Imposing a language???
    – Where is the dream of Iqbal. BTW, What language Hazrat Allama Iqbal spoke and what langugae he chose to write …

    – What language were leaders of 1947 movement were speeking?
There are major languages in Pakistan which can’t even be spelled?

    – Who put the RISHWAT Culture?

    – Who have bee fleeing from all over the Pakistan and coming to Karachi? And why?

    > have occupied senior positions in government and private sectors
Who move Naval headquarters to Islamabad
Why PIA doesn’t give a job to whom
Why government jobs are difficult to get and for whom

Just travel from Europe or US to Pakistan, and you would see what language and color of people working as flight stewards/hostess, WHY

Only private Sector is the one which hires people with ability.
IF THEY HIRE PEOPLE ON DOMICILE THEN YOU WILL NOT SEE PRIVATE SECTOR GROWTH.

    Please don’t words like this.

    Thank You.
