Shaheed e millat is also completely jammed. Commuters report its due to the fact that signals arent working and there is no traffic police to manage things.

Geo News is reporting in their infostrip that it’s due to the power breakdowns in that area which has caused so many people to take to the streets around the same time.

I was there around 6pm… i was commuting to karimabad through national stadium after the hassan square flyover the traffic was jam packed i took a U turn on the main road and went to the old sabzi mandi road to take the route through sindhi hotel but that route was also jammed went into the gallis and tried to go through hassan square and consequently through gulshan to ayesha manzil but to my astonishment that road had also been jammed due to the traffic being rerouted(even saw the city nazim’s protocol getting out through that route!).. then there was no going through I quickly did a turn and raced back home!!… that took me around an hour!!… thank god i didnt get stuck!!

jeesh doc! you beat me to the post by seconds!
i live near gulshan chowrangi and i can see the jam since around 4 hours i guess. it was building up as i was getting home from office.
the jam is due to the demonstrations against the brutal load-shedding for the past few days.
Gulshan is completely shut off for entrance and still the traffic is grid-locked.
i had to leave for clifton and i tried for almost half an hour but couldnt touch the main road!
just now: Rashid Minhas road going towards the Aladdin park is opened.
