pretty old picture … i cannot see the bridge that is now constructed… or the “development” that has made life miserable thanks to Nazim-e-Nala… it has taken me 1-2 hours to get from I.I chundrigar to here for the last one year

this reminds me of some guy who tried to jump (commit suicide) off my cousin’s apartment building….. the residents caught him in the act and beat the crap outta him…..
cracks me up everytime i go on /see/ listen about multi storied buildings ……

  12. Arifa (unregistered) on July 11th, 2007 @ 8:03 pm

@Broke: If thye saved his life to beat him up, why not just let him die? That doesn’t sound so noble.

  13. br0ke (unregistered) on July 11th, 2007 @ 10:55 pm

@arifa: if you find a shirtless dude on your roof would you offer him lemonade or arrange to get his ass whooped???

  14. silver (unregistered) on July 11th, 2007 @ 11:21 pm

Oh yeah .. missed that … sorry… perhaps anti nazim-e-nala sentiments made me ignore the fact … on a positive note though , I HATE NAZIM-E-NALA

  18. Arifa (unregistered) on July 12th, 2007 @ 8:20 am

@BROK: If he got all the way up there to kill himself, he would have good reasons to do so, I might not bother him at all. If he is just an exhibitionist and likes to roam around shirtless,I would ignore him. If he is being wierd, I’ll call the police to take him away.

    @Teeth Maestro
Nice thinking man! you have posted a very old picture taken from Mashriq Centre when there is no Civic Centre Flyover and EPB Expo Centre is not much developed

  21. Teeth Maestro (unregistered) on July 12th, 2007 @ 12:26 pm

Hitman nailed it within 30 minutes of this post going online

I seriously thought it could have been a tough one

  22. Jamal Shamsi (unregistered) on July 12th, 2007 @ 1:58 pm

Teetho why ? only because it is old and the flyover is missing :)

U snapped it before nazim-a-nala moustpha Kudaal announced the fly over project – :)

  23. Teeth Maestro (unregistered) on July 12th, 2007 @ 2:32 pm

Jamal – I assure you the image was taken by myself about a month ago, the flyover does exist in the background. but yes the haze of Karachi hides the image – in a while I will post two more pictures of the area around it as well including the original image where i had cropped out the Expo Center.
