New In Town: TAPAL Ice Tea. Tea found popularity among the people Karachi last year as I had noticed various imported Ice Tea cans being sold at the many leading stores throughout the city. I think TAPAL must also have noticed this new change, which is probably why they decided to launch their very own Ice Tea. Packed in a peachy colored tin and priced at Rs.30/-, this peach flavor Ice Tea is a refreshing addition to the popular TAPAL product line. They have been the leading brand here in Karachi for many years, almost 30 I suppose, and this new product which is for now only available at leading (selected) stores in Karachi and is sure to stir up some more excitement among the Chi freaked Karachiiets can really put them an other step ahead of all the leading brands in our city.

Although lemon is the flavor I prefer when it comes to Ice Tea, But TAPAL’s peach Flavored, is not bad at all, as a matter of fact it’s so good that I would gladly recommend this product to everyone because I am sure you all will totally enjoy it.

Someone here mentioned THORNTON’s icecream. If you referred to THORNTON in Muslim countries then then its OK otherwise in most of the other Western countries 90% of the flavour contains alcohol making it HARAM for Muslim compsumtion.

P.S. I might be wrong about the figure but it does contact alcohol (even the chocolates do)

    Here is the confirmation

Are any Thorntons products Muslim Halal approved?

No. However, as Muslims often request products that are both vegetarian-friendly & alcohol-free, the appropriate separate list from the Product Information pack MAY be of use.

The Tapal Ice Tea tastes like watered down pee with a hint of peach flavouring. On another note, I’ve found though my extensive research that haram things generally taste a lot better than halal things.

@MYself : i am not sure if its true or not but its written that Human’s meat is the sweetest of all meat and if someone do taste it for any reason he would be tempted to kill someone for it!!!

It is not ICE TEA, it should be ICED TEA.
There is a huge difference in Ice tea and the ‘Iced tea’.

Iced Tea in orignal flavor is much better than any thing else. Lipton has this no added flavor iced tea and it is wonderful.
