Cliché
There are some things that ordinary people look at differently from a person with a camera. We take things for granted but photographers view them from an extraordinary perspective.
I stumbled upon this picture on the web and thought of sharing it. Enjoy.
Looking for a “ride-in” entry?
they r going the opposite way, ain’t they :P
nicely taken pic anyway
wats the exit for?
exit from the sea??? :D
Do we have mcDonald at HawksBay also ? or is it Clifton ? But whats wrong with the pict ? The exit sign would be just for traffic.
Seems lovely pict. to me.
@Khitorpit – renick urself PAINDU :)
slow news day?????
it’s the Macdonnald at the sea view beach.
the sign indicates the direction for the poeple in car going towards the exit. it’s just in front of the outdoor seating area!

@Petarian, thats what I am also saying, that the sign is for the vehicle…… so then why this dude Jamal Shamsi is getting mad at me … anybody know why ???
Jamal Shamsi have some personal vendata against your nickname (one of our iranian friend’s name is naiknaam, we call him nickname for fun :)
)
I think its a classic picture of Lexus vs. Olive Tree by Thomas Friedman…. for those who would have read it or would know Friedman, they would really understand it!!
Basically, the McDonalds sign represent capitalism, consumerism and the new way of doing things, while the Camel-rider reprsents tradition, culture and an older way of doing things.
And the picture shows how they are pointing into opposite direction and shows the conflict between the two…. its a conflict we are facing, rather the whole world is facing!! So this really represents it and I must thank the poster for sharing this……
